With delivery centers in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai, ISPL serves as a 24x7 global delivery center for the Group's business lines. The ITG (IT Group) function, established in 2019, collaborates with various business lines to provide essential IT services across the Group.
Job Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Lead will report to the ISPL ITG ServiceNow Manager and collaborate closely with the ServiceNow Platform Manager, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and the ServiceNow Architect in Paris. The core aim is to deliver robust, secure, and maintainable solutions while guiding the development team to achieve project and business goals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team; mentor members to promote innovation and continuous learning; and manage a team of ServiceNow professionals in collaboration with Paris and ISPL.
- Build and customize ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, and Scoped Apps); translate functional specifications into technical designs and scalable scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, etc.).
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and define scope; estimate effort, create development plans, and track progress against sprint/roadmap milestones using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices; produce comprehensive technical documentation; automate testing via the Automated Test Framework (ATF); and provide production support, including root-cause analysis and fixes.
- Optimize platform performance (indexing, query tuning, asynchronous processing); recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities; and stay updated on new ServiceNow releases.
- Ensure all solutions comply with security, data privacy, and regulatory guidelines.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field, with a minimum of 9 years of total relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a ServiceNow Development leadership role.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and ITSM ServiceNow best practices.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow core modules, Service Portal, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and scoped applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (client-side and server-side), Glide APIs, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS.
- Experience with REST/SOAP, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, MID Server, and web-service authentication.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
