ServiceNow VR – Senior Developer (6–8 Years)
Role Overview
ServiceNow Senior Developer with 6–8 years of experience specializing in ITSM and Vulnerability Response (VR), supporting secure, compliant, and SLA-driven ServiceNow environments in a financial services context.
Key Responsibilities
ITSM Delivery
- Develop and enhance Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management
- Ensure alignment with ITIL practices and Aegon governance standards
- Drive SLA adherence, backlog reduction, and service quality improvements
Vulnerability Response (VR) / SecOps
- Implement and optimize ServiceNow VR for vulnerability lifecycle management
- Enable ingestion, prioritization, and remediation workflows
- Integrate with scanners (e.g., Rapid7, Fortify) for automated processing
- Support security reporting and audit readiness
Development & Customization
- Configure and customize:
- Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies
- Flow Designer / Workflows
- Deliver scalable enhancements aligned to business and compliance needs
Integration & Data Management
- Develop REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems
- Support CMDB alignment and cross-module integration (ITSM, VR)
Reporting & Quality
- Build Performance Analytics dashboards (SLA, MTTR, vulnerability metrics)
- Create and maintain ATF scripts for release validation
Managed Services Support
- Handle BAU enhancements, defect fixes, and continuous improvement
- Participate in CAB, governance, and stakeholder interactions
Required Skills
- Strong experience in:
- ServiceNow ITSM and Vulnerability Response (VR)
- JavaScript, Glide APIs, ServiceNow scripting
- Hands-on with:
- Service Catalog, Workflows / Flow Designer
- Integrations (REST/SOAP), CMDB
- Performance Analytics
Certifications (Preferred)
- ServiceNow CSA
- CIS – ITSM / Security Operations
