Servicenow Developer

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITOM Visibility, Discovery, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, CMDB, Discovery Patterns, and Service Mapping Patterns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow ITOM solutions to improve infrastructure visibility, CMDB accuracy, service dependency mapping, and operational efficiency.

Job Location: Bangalore/Pune/Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB
• Configure and maintain ITOM Visibility modules to provide end-to-end infrastructure and service visibility
• Develop, customize, and troubleshoot Discovery Patterns for servers, databases, middleware, network devices, and cloud resources
• Create and maintain Service Mapping Patterns to discover application dependencies and business service topologies
• Implement and support Service Graph Connectors for integrating data from cloud providers, monitoring tools, and third-party systems
• Configure and manage CMDB governance using Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
• Perform CI reconciliation, normalization, and data quality improvements
• Develop custom probes, sensors, patterns, and integration workflows where required
• Design and maintain service maps for critical business applications
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and operations teams to ensure accurate service mapping
• Support cloud discovery for AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments
• Troubleshoot Discovery schedules, MID Servers, pattern execution failures, and service mapping issues
• Participate in CMDB health improvement initiatives and governance reviews
• Configure Event Management and integrate monitoring tools where applicable
• Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge transfer documents
• Support ServiceNow upgrades and platform enhancements
