Job Description – ServiceNow Developer (SPM)

Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Developer (SPM) with strong expertise in implementing and customizing ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience across Demand Management, PPM, Resource Management, Agile Development, Portfolio Planning, integrations, and custom application development on the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow SPM modules including Demand, PPM, Resource Management, Agile Development, and Portfolio Planning.
- Develop and customize workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer solutions.
- Build and enhance custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
- Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and third-party systems.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, and Performance Analytics solutions.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong implementation experience in ServiceNow SPM.
- Expertise in Demand Management, PPM, Resource Management, Agile Development, and Portfolio Planning.
- Strong knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with ServiceNow App Engine and Custom Application Development.
- Strong integration experience using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, and enterprise applications.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM (CIS-SPM)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ITIL Foundation Certification
Nice to Have
- Performance Analytics and Reporting experience.
- Exposure to Agile Development 2.0.
- Experience in enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow AI, Now Assist, and automation capabilities.
