RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure a clear understanding of project scope and strategy, proactively identifying possible issues or constraints as per technical requirements.
- Participate in story grooming exercises with project colleagues to obtain a clear understanding of customer requirements as detailed in each story. Collaborate with BPC to proactively address areas that are unclear or need to be adjusted.
- Document technical solution within each story, considering acceptance criteria, as well as the overall customer requirement.
- Establish estimates for time and effort of development based on the complexity of the technical solution within each story, to effectively plan development activities and deliverables within each sprint.
- Implement development, configuration, and write maintainable code while respecting best practices, ensuring development fulfills all user requirements.
- Complete unit testing, to ensure the development functions as expected as detailed within the description, acceptance criteria, solution and comments story.
- Perform peer review, correct development, configuration or codes accordingly.
- Deploy the update sets and/or publish/install applications from the application repository.
- Collaborate with QA to manage defects, sufficiently documenting the resolution.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in ServiceNow implementation (not just evolution and maintenance).
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in JavaScript programming.
- Development experience with ServiceNow portals.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow's basic platform functionalities CSM/ITSM/FSM(3 years of experience)
- Passion for designing and implementing reliable technological solutions.
- Commitment to knowledge transfer and teamwork.
- Sense of collaboration, flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving orientation.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with SOAP and CSS.
- Knowledge of best practices in SDLC and ITIL.
- Understanding of web portals with AngularJS and Bootstrap.
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS, MC).
- ITIL certification.
