Servicenow Developer (ITAM SAM/HAM)

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize SAM/HAM: entitlements, normalization, reconciliation rules, reclamation workflows.

• Implement data model updates across alm_asset, cmdb_ci, software installations, contracts, vendors.

• Develop Flows/Actions (Flow Designer/IntegrationHub), Business Rules, Script Includes, and UI policies.

• Build integrations via REST/SOAP, MID Server, and import sets (software inventory, SaaS discovery, AD, procurement).

• Implement data quality controls, scheduled jobs, and error handling; optimize performance.

• Create reports/dashboards for compliance, savings, and lifecycle metrics.

• Support UAT, deployment, and release management; maintain technical documentation.

• Collaborate with BA and CMDB/Discovery teams to ensure data consistency.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years on ServiceNow with 4+ years focused on ITAM/SAM/HAM development.

• Strong JavaScript skills (Server-side), Glide APIs, and ServiceNow configuration.

• Hands-on with IntegrationHub, MID Server, imports/transforms, and data mapping. Nice-to-Have / Certifications • ServiceNow SAM Professional/HAM Specialist, CSA.

• Experience with Discovery, Software normalization, and common vendor license models.
