About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer with strong expertise in ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, ITSM, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM). You will design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions while ensuring platform best practices, seamless integrations, and high-quality CMDB data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions across ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, HAM, and SAM.
• Configure and optimize Discovery, MID Servers, Service Mapping (where applicable), and CMDB.
• Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows, and custom applications.
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
• Implement and maintain CSDM and Data Foundation best practices to ensure CMDB health.
• Support Hardware and Software Asset Management implementations.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and participate in upgrades and release management.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 5–10 years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow development expertise.
• Hands-on experience with ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, ITSM, HAM, and SAM.
• Strong knowledge of CSDM, CMDB, and Data Foundation.
• Experience configuring Discovery schedules, MID Servers, Discovery patterns, and troubleshooting.
• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and development best practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Mandatory Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM (CIS-ITOM)
• Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Now Assist and AI capabilities within ServiceNow.
• Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery, or AIOps.
• Automation Engine and IntegrationHub.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications.
