Your Role And Responsibilities
- ServiceNow Development and JavaScript knowledge: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ServiceNow solutions supporting Global Procurement workflows, catalog items, and integrations using platform best practices.
- Workflow Automation: Enhance and automate procurement lifecycle processes including request intake, approvals, routing, and sourcing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Platform Modernisation: Refactor legacy customisations into upgrade-safe, scalable configurations using modern ServiceNow capabilities (e.g., Flow Designer), reducing technical debt.
- HAM / SAM Expertise: Support and enhance integrations and workflows related to Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM), ensuring accurate asset lifecycle tracking, license compliance, and alignment with procurement processes.
- Platform Stability & Support: Ensure production stability by troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, supporting incident response, and performing root cause analysis.
- Release, Governance & Collaboration: Support release cycles and upgrade validations, maintain compliance with enterprise standards, expand test coverage, and collaborate with procurement stakeholders and CIO platform teams to deliver sustainable solutions

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices
Experience with Procurement workflows and lifecycle automation
Strong solution design capability with focus on scalable, upgrade-safe implementations
Proficiency in Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and workflow automation
Experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules and their alignment with procurement processes
Strong understanding of regression testing, upgrade validation, and defect prevention
Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and improving automated test coverage
Ability to write structured functional and integration test cases
Strong performance optimisation and troubleshooting skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
Strong communication skills, stakeholder collaboration
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
JavaScript development experience within the ServiceNow platform
Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems via APIs and integrations
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation capabilities within modern development environments
Experience working on platform modernisation or legacy workflow migrations
Knowledge of release automation for ServiceNow
Experience contributing to platform governance, architecture reviews, and best practice frameworks
