Job Description
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications to address specific business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze detailed requirements
- Design scalable, maintainable, and efficient custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and organizational standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications to maintain optimal performance
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for custom application development and configurations
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements relevant to custom application development
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Develop and implement workflows, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and integrations
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for custom applications
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the team
- Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and other developers for seamless integration
- Manage application versioning, deployment, and release activities
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and data protection standards
