ServiceNow Developer / Consultant – CMDB & ITOM

About the Role
Our consulting client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow professional with strong expertise in CMDB, ITOM, and ServiceNow scripting. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CMDB and ITOM solutions while ensuring data integrity, platform stability, and process automation across enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support ServiceNow CMDB solutions.
- Implement and enhance ITOM modules including Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Develop custom ServiceNow solutions using scripting and platform development best practices.
- Maintain CMDB health, governance, and data quality.
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
Required Skills / What You Bring
- 8+ years of IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM.
- Expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB governance.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration and development.
- Experience with integrations, APIs, and automation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
