ServiceNow Developer (CMDB)

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with hands-on CMDB setup experience. The role covers designing, configuring and maintaining the Configuration Management Database and related integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, set up and configure the ServiceNow CMDB in line with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)

• Define CI classes, relationships, attributes and identification and reconciliation rules

• Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping and IntegrationHub ETL

• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party tools such as SCCM, cloud platforms and monitoring tools

• Build and maintain CMDB health dashboards covering completeness, correctness and compliance

• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies and Workflows/Flow Designer

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions to agreed timelines

Required Skills

7+ Years in IT Experience

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience

• Proven experience in end-to-end CMDB setup and data governance

• Strong knowledge of CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server configuration

• Working knowledge of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change)

Preferred

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, Discovery or CMDB

• Experience with ITOM and Service Graph Connectors
