Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Service Now development (6-10 years)
- Deep understanding of:
- Server-side and client-side scripting (JavaScript)
- ServiceNow architecture and data model
- Experience in integrations:
- REST/SOAP, JSON/XML
- Solid working knowledge of ITSM processes
- Good debugging and problem-solving capability
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Build and customize applications using:
- Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Ul Policies Flow Designer, Integration Hub
- Develop and manage integrations: REST/SOAP Apis, Third-party system integrations
- Configure and enhance ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change)
- Work on data modelling, CMDB, and platform best practices
- Troubleshoot performance and production issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Must independently design and implement end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow using server-side (Business Rules, Script Includes) and client-side (Client Scripts, Ul Policies) scripting — no reliance on low-code-only approaches.
- Must have hands-on experience building and troubleshooting real integrations (REST/SOAP APis, Integration Hub), including data transformation, error handling, and performance optimization in production environments.
Good to Have
- Experience in FSM (Field Service Management)
- Exposure to Telecom domain (OSS/BSS, network workflows, service assurance)
- Experience with:
- CMDB / CSDM
- Performance tuning
- Domain Separation
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD preferred)
