We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM) / Enterprise Architecture (EA) Developer to design, build, customize, and maintain solutions within the APM or EA modules. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills, deep platform knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional, scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customization and Scripting: Develop and customize solutions within ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
- Module Development: Build and configure APM/EA workspaces, enabling application rationalization, technology risk assessments, and lifecycle management workflows.
- Integration Development: Create and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., CMDB discovery tools, financial systems, other enterprise apps) using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Data Modeling and CMDB: Apply CSDM (Common Service Data Model) principles to ensure data integrity and build a robust, accurate application data model within the CMDB.
- Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to APM/EA configurations, integrations, and performance, providing scalable solutions.
Technical Skills & Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow-specific scripting.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Workflows, Flow Designer, Service Portal widgets.
- Experience developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
- In-depth knowledge of CMDB and CSDM frameworks.
Experience Requirements
- 38 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Proven experience in APM or EA module development.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and application lifecycle management.
