Job Description

We are looking for a ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong IT Service Management (ITSM) knowledge, hands-on experience gathering requirements, and the ability to translate them into functional specifications for ServiceNow developers and configuration teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM.

  • Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional requirements.

  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions with business teams.

  • Work closely with developers and configuration specialists to ensure requirements are accurately implemented in ServiceNow.

  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by creating test cases and coordinating defect resolution.

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using ServiceNow capabilities.

  • Maintain detailed documentation, including requirement traceability and change logs.

  • Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational policies.

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow technical team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 35+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in ITSM or enterprise IT applications.

  • Proven experience working on ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, CMDB).

  • Proficiency in creating process diagrams, workflow documentation, and user stories.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
