ServiceNow Business Analyst (2–3 Years)Role OverviewWe are looking for a Business Analyst who has experience with ServiceNow. The person should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work with business teams to understand their needs and turn them into solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
You should be able to handle things on your own, solve problems, and improve processes without depending too much on developers.
Key Responsibilities- Talk to business teams to understand their requirements.
- Analyze and document those requirements clearly.
- Convert business needs into ServiceNow workflows and configurations.
- Work on:
- ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change)
- Service Catalog and request workflows
- Access management (IAM processes)
- Coordinate with technical teams to deliver the right solutions.
- Help improve ServiceNow features like forms, workflows, and catalog items.
- Study current processes and suggest improvements based on best practices (ITIL).
- Take part in testing (UAT) and make sure everything works correctly.
- Create documents like BRD, FRD, user stories, and process flows.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
- Support continuous improvement of ServiceNow usage.
Required Skills- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (configuration/functional side).
- Good knowledge of:
- ITSM processes
- Service Catalog
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow configuration (coding is not required).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to handle stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is a plus.
Experience- 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Experience working on ServiceNow projects.
- Experience working with different teams in an organization.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Preferred Skills- Experience with other ServiceNow modules like ITAM or ITOM.
- Knowledge of tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, JIRA, etc.
- Understanding of how ServiceNow connects with other systems.
