ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)

Role Overview

The ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) is responsible for validating ServiceNow platform functionality, ensuring quality across modules and integrations. This role involves designing and executing test plans, automating test cases, and collaborating with developers and business teams to deliver robust ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for ServiceNow applications.

Validate ServiceNow platform functionality following the test lifecycle.

Create test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Perform Automated Test Framework (ATF), unit, and system testing.

Test ServiceNow modules (Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, Service Catalog, Integrations).

Conduct integration testing using REST/SOAP APIs.

Collaborate with developers to design test strategies and automate workflows.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.

Document defects and manage defect triage calls.

Primary Skills

Strong ServiceNow testing experience across ITSM modules.

Expertise in ATF and automation tools (Selenium, QTP).

Knowledge of ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and API testing.

Ability to design test strategies, plans, and cases.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Secondary Skills

Understanding of performance, unit, and automated testing techniques.

Exposure to web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS).

Experience with DevOps testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.

ITIL V4 Foundation or above (preferred).

Certifications (Preferred)

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM/ITOM/ITBM.
