We are looking for a ServiceNow Architect to join our team .
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of engagements implementing ServiceNowandintegrating applications by requirement gathering, problem resolution, and providingrecommendations to customers.
- Lead the development team to provide enhancements and customization insupportof customer needs utilizing JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other web-based scriptingtools and methodologies.
- Work to the overall objectives agreed with the IT services managers.
- Implement ITS Configuration Management policy and standards while workingwithapplication support to ensure that any integrations added into ServiceNowalignwithbest practices for the platform.
- Provide leadership and expert knowledge of ServiceNow application architecturetobusiness and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative development of thetechnology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.
- Manage clients, complex projects, drive business requirement gathering, managescope and client expectations
- Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process diagrams supporting and communicating changes to ServiceNow platformapplications.
- Perform upgrades and customizations of ServiceNow platform applications whileadhering to source code, configuration management, release management andsoftware development best practices.
- Perform workflow design, configuration, development and data loads for ServiceNow platform, (ServiceNow) applications.
- Responsible for programming workflow, enhancements and integrations withServiceNow platform applications.
- Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent witharchitecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Providing support / guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes.
- Provide inputs to create Agile user stories based on business requirements
- Participate in E2E functionality assessment during Validation Testing phases (SIT, UAT)
- Experience with technical programming; capable of managing and overseeing global teams designing, programming and implementing various technical solutions Work with Level 1 support teams to deploy and maintain applications
- Responsible for proactive problem and risk management on the platform.
- Guideteam in troubleshooting issues found on ServiceNow platform, applications, andworkflows.
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining ServiceNow integrations viaRESTAPI.
- Ability to develop and configure applications using ServiceNow, and JavaScript technology; Build Workflows and write automated scripts
- Develop, configure and implement changes in ServiceNow including, but not limitedto: core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, customscripting, and third-party software integrations.
- Perform advanced customizations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports etc. Required Technical Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline. While an advanceddegree is preferred, the value is placed on the extent of the relevant experienceandaccomplishments
- 9+ years Industry experience, in developing and architecture of software platforms, products.
- Prior experience in leading architecture activities like designing, roadmap, &proof- of-concepts on COTS platforms or Low Code/No Code platforms.
- At least 9 years of experience on ServiceNow platform in modules like ITSM, HRSD, APM, PPM, GRC or ITAM and designing solutions within these modules.
- Ability to manage multiple customers, complex projects, and multiple initiatives at the same time.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 1-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients andindustries/sectors you serve.
- Preferred:
- Exposure to ETL Tools that transfer data from ServiceNow - like Perspectiumor SnowMirror.
- Knowledge on Integration Hub, Flow Designer, UI Framework and UI Builder is aplus. Experience with NOW intelligence.
- Experience with Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Exposure to Service Portal.
- Exposure to capabilities in ServiceNow Quebec version.
- Experience working with SAFe, Scrum or Agile development processes.
- Must have clear communications skills both oral and written with ability to negotiatein a non-confrontational manner to deliver a clear, well-structured and conciseargument supporting a perspective, using facts, pro's/con's, business justificationsand other persuasion methods.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, balance prioritiesand juggle multiple tasks at once
- Must possess a strong desire and clear understanding for high customer satisfaction
