Job Description
Piccolo Cafe is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Team Member to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will be confident, well-spoken, and passionate about delivering a warm and memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking customer orders, making menu recommendations, and ensuring smooth service throughout the guest's visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming cafe experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders and coordinate with the kitchen/bar team
Confidently explain the menu and suggest dishes, beverages, and add-ons based on customer preferences
Ensure timely service and check in with guests during their visit
Handle basic billing and payment procedures when required
Address customer queries or concerns politely and professionally
Support the team during peak hours and ensure smooth daily operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
11.5 years of experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality service role
Strong communication skills (English & Hindi preferred)
Confident personality with a customer-first approach
Good product knowledge or willingness to learn the menu in detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Well-groomed, punctual, and professional in conduct
