This Position reports to:
Service ManagerYour Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.
The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite.
This role is contributing to the Automation - Marine & Ports division in India Region.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Driving service order intake and revenue growth in line with Ports Business in India.
Identifying service opportunities within the installed base and developing proactive sales plans.
Preparing and submitting techno‑commercial proposals for service offerings including AMC contracts, retrofits, modernization, spares, service kits, field service, commissioning, and digital services.
Negotiating commercial terms and closing orders in compliance with ABB guidelines.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and end users, including conducting visits, technical discussions, and service reviews.
Service sales across spare services, port business, crane products (VFD, PLC systems), AMC contracts, and retrofit modernization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical or Automation Engineering MBA or equivalent commercial exposure preferred.
6-10 years of experience in Service Sales, Aftermarket Sales, or Technical Sales.
Experience in the industrial Ports & Marine segment.
Strong exposure to service contracts, pricing, and customer negotiations.
Proficiency in CRM tools (SFDC) and familiarity with ABB digital, sustainability, and lifecycle value propositions.
