Job Description

Partner Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Conduct formal face-to-face visits to partner offices on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Grow HPE's share of business by developing deep, strategic relationships with partners.
  • Recruit and develop new business relationships with partners.
  • Ensure partners comply with HPE's Rules of Engagement (ROE), legal, and SBC practices.

Sales Planning & Execution

  • Create and manage the company's deal funnel with partners; ensure forecasting accuracy for commitments and timelines.
  • Position HPE services portfolio to partners and integrate offerings as part of their business solutions.
  • Develop and maintain business plans to promote sales growth.
  • Drive Statements of Work (SOW) growth with distributors managing partners on HPE's behalf.

Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth

  • Contribute to joint business planning with partners and implement go-to-market strategies (direct/indirect sales motions).
  • Monitor revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and partner performance metrics.
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize sales opportunities and partner engagement.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 710 years of proven experience in channel sales, development, and partner management.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving sales growth through partners and distributors.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the partner ecosystem.
  • Expertise in partner, distributor, and reseller management.
  • Knowledge of sales & go-to-market strategies, joint business planning, and revenue forecasting.
  • Understanding of ROEs, SBC, and confidentiality laws.
  • Ability to build trust with partners, executives, and sales teams.
  • Blend of business acumen, relationship management, and technical knowledge.
  • Data-driven decision-making and ability to articulate value propositions.
  • Ability to motivate partner sales forces.
  • Fluency in English/Hindi and 12 South Indian languages.
