Roles and responsibilities
- Platform Administration
- Manage daily ServiceNow platform operations and maintenance.
- Perform instance cloning, patching, upgrades, and health checks.
- Administer users, roles, ACLs, and platform security.
- Maintain CMDB, Discovery schedules, and data integrity.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime.
- Development & Technical Delivery
- Design and develop custom applications, workflows, UI policies, UI actions, and catalog items.
- Enhance Service Portal widgets and pages.
- Use Script Includes, Business Rules, and Flow Designer.
- Develop integrations via REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Understand and implement ITOM licenses for Discover and CMDB management.
- Building Automations for Operational Excellence in ServiceNow
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Review technical work done by Developers.
- Collaborate with product owners, Architects and process owners for requirements.
- Perform Stakeholder Management with India & US teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure sprint delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and perform root cause analysis.
- Governance, Quality & Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with development standards and platform governance.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Identify automation opportunities and drive improvements.
Qualificatiom
- Qualified in B.Tech/M.Tech/BE/ME
- 7+ years of combined ServiceNow development and administration experience.
- Proficiency in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB).
- Experience with upgrades, cloning, MID Server, Discovery.
- Knowledge of roles, ACLs, data policies, and platform security.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
