Role Description The Service Manager–Operation in Mutual Fund is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities related to mutual fund distribution, including transaction processing, documentation, reconciliation, and coordination with asset management companies and registrars. The position involves managing client service requests, handling onboarding and KYC processes, ensuring timely resolution of queries, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The Service Manager–Operation will collaborate closely with sales and advisory teams, monitor compliance with regulatory and internal policies, support audits and reporting, and help optimize processes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong mutual fund operations and back-office skills, including transaction processing, reconciliation, and documentation management.
  • Candidates should possess client servicing and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle queries, coordinate service requests, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of financial products and markets, particularly mutual funds, and an understanding of regulatory requirements, KYC, and compliance standards.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Candidates should possess good communication and coordination skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant financial or CRM software, as well as comfort with digital platforms used in mutual fund operations, is beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in mutual funds or securities markets (such as NISM) are an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in mutual fund operations, financial services, or a similar role is highly desirable.
