Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Service Labs - Account Manager (Sales). The Account Manager will be responsible to grow key customer accounts for Credence Genomics diagnostic services for Bactfast®- pan-bacterial indentification solution, Fungifast®- pan-fungal indentification solution and Virfast®- pan-viral indentification solution. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, understanding their laboratory and clinical sample volume for Infectious Diseases, presenting Credence Genomics diagnostic solutions and negotiating contracts to achieve sales targets. The role also involves coordinating with internal technical and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery, resolving issues promptly, and providing regular account reviews and performance reports. The Account Manager will identify new business opportunities, participate in marketing and outreach activities, and maintain accurate records in the CRM to support forecasting and planning.

Qualifications

  • Strong Account Management and Sales skills, with experience managing client portfolios and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical services clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or laboratory services is highly beneficial, especially in genomics or clinical testing environments.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple accounts, and use CRM and productivity tools effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology with an advanced degree or relevant certifications in Sales & Marketing are an advantage.
