Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Service Expert to manage and support multiple software development tools, ensuring smooth daily operations, tool stability, and 2nd level support for internal software teams. The role requires strong technical expertise and operational knowledge across SDLC toolchains.
Key Responsibilities / Important Roles:
Administer and operate SDLC tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker, Elastic, and Figma.
Provide 2nd level support for development tools, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and user guidance.
Manage user access, permissions, backups, monitoring, and integrations across tools.
Collaborate with software architects and developers to ensure efficient tool usage and support agile workflows.
Maintain operational documentation and follow ITIL/ITSM best practices (ServiceNow preferred).
Assist in automating repetitive tasks and improving tool-related processes.
Degree in IT / Business IT or strong hands-on experience in SDLC tool administration.
35+ years of experience as an Application Administrator, DevOps/Tooling Engineer, or 2nd Level Support for development tools.
Strong operational knowledge of multiple SDLC tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, SonarQube, Docker, etc.).
Basic scripting and cloud (Azure) familiarity is a plus.
Excellent English communication, team-oriented, agile-friendly.
