We are looking for a Service Engineer with experience in gas detectors and gas analyzers. The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support for fixed and portable gas detection systems and analyzers.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of gas detectors, gas analyzers, and monitoring systems.
Calibration and preventive maintenance of fixed and portable gas detection instruments.
Troubleshooting and repairing field instruments at customer sites.
Conducting routine service visits and AMC support activities.
Preparing service reports, calibration certificates, and documentation.
Providing technical support and training to customers.
Coordinating with the sales and R&D teams for technical discussions and product improvements.
Ensuring timely closure of customer complaints and breakdown calls.
Supporting site surveys and system integration activities.
Following safety standards and site protocols during field work.
Required Skills
Knowledge of gas detection technologies such as:
LEL, H2S, CO, O2, NH3, VOC, and toxic gas detectors
Fixed and portable gas detectors
Flue gas analyzers, biogas analyzers, and emission monitoring systems
Understanding of sensor technologies:
Electrochemical
Infrared (IR)
Catalytic bead
PID sensors
Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, PLC, and communication protocols.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently at customer sites.
Qualification
Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field.
