Job Summary:

As a Service Engineer at VTPL, you will be responsible for installation, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of a broad portfolio of vacuum and gas analysis instruments. You will support both in-house and field service operations, while managing customer engagement, reporting, and service planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Service & Support

Test, calibrate, maintain, and repair equipment such as cryostats, furnaces, vacuum gauges, mass flow controllers, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometers, Residual Gas Analysers (RGA), and moreboth in-house and on-site.

Provide remote support when needed for diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Customer Coordination & Planning

Coordinate service schedules, customer communications, and manage service-related documentation. This includes preparation of quotations, reports, and status updates.

Qualifications

BE or Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical Engineeringor BSc in Physics

5+ years of relevant experience in gas analysis or the vacuum industry.
