Job Summary:USAM CADSoft India Pvt Ltd, a trusted Epson Accredited Partner specializing in Large Format Printers for Technical, Textile, and Photo applications, is seeking a skilled Service Engineer with 2 years of experience to provide high-quality service support for computer systems and large format printing solutions. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Epson Large Format Printers and computer hardware/software systems, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain Epson Large Format Printers (Technical, Textile, Photo) at customer locations.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems (hardware and software).
- Diagnose printer faults, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers.
- Perform calibration, alignment, and test prints to ensure optimal printer performance.
- Maintain detailed service reports after each service visit, including issue diagnosis, resolution, and parts used.
- Coordinate with technical support teams and Epson service engineers for complex troubleshooting.
- Manage spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems.
- Ensure timely service response and achieve defined service KPIs.
- Support customer escalations and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on new printer models, software updates, and technical service procedures.
Qualifications:- Education:
- Any degree (Engineering, Science, IT, Computer Applications, etc.)
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment.
- Knowledge of large format printers (Epson preferred) or computer systems troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Coimbatore & Tirupur region.
- Good communication and customer service orientation.
