About The Role
Loom Solar is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled
Service Engineer to handle installation support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service for solar products and systems. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth functioning of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain solar power systems including panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and technical faults at customer sites.
- Provide after-sales service and ensure timely complaint resolution.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of installed systems.
- Test equipment performance and ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, production, and technical support for issue resolution.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and customer feedback records.
- Educate customers on product usage, safety precautions, and basic maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company service protocols.
- Travel to customer locations for on-site service whenever required.
Requirements
Required Qualification
- ITI in Electrical / Electrician Trade
OR
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Freshers can apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, solar service, or field service will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of solar systems, inverters, and batteries.
- Ability to use electrical tools and testing instruments such as multimeter, clamp meter, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and in field conditions.
- Willingness to travel for service visits.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
