Job Summary

Responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive & breakdown maintenance,

troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

such as Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Pallet Trucks, Stackers, and Warehouse Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation, commissioning, PDI and performance testing of MHE.
2. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance at customer sites.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults.
4. Service and repair Diesel, LPG and Electric/Battery-operated equipment.
5. Attend customer breakdown calls promptly and minimize equipment downtime.
6. Provide technical support and basic operational/safety training to customers.
7. Prepare service reports, inspection checklists and maintenance records; update ERP/CRM.
8. Identify spare-part requirements and coordinate for timely availability and warranty replacements.
9. Follow company/customer safety procedures and statutory/manufacturer standards.
10. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
11. Participate in technical training and service-quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical circuits, diesel engines and battery systems.
• Ability to understand wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers and battery chargers.
• Good communication, customer-handling and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer sites.
• Flexible to attend emergency breakdown calls.
• Experience in Forklift / MHE / Industrial Equipment servicing preferred.
