Job Description

Job Title: Service Engineer

Job Summary: A Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation and Maintenance

o Install, calibrate, and configure machinery and equipment at customer sites.

o Perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

2. Troubleshooting and Repair

o Diagnose technical issues and provide timely solutions.

o Replace faulty parts, upgrade systems, and perform necessary repairs.

3. Customer Support

o Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers.

o Educate clients on proper use and care of equipment.

o Build strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Documentation

o Maintain accurate records of service reports, repairs, and maintenance activities.

o Submit detailed job completion reports to the supervisor or manager.

5. Compliance and Safety

o Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.

o Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe operation of equipment.

6. Product Knowledge and Training

o Stay updated on new technologies and product updates.

o Assist in training customers or junior staff as needed.

7. Service Sales (POC Kits Business (Immunofluorescence Quantitative analyzer) & Hospital consumables)

o Promote and sell Immunofluorescence Quantitative analyzer devices, Kits & Hospital consumables to healthcare professionals & Corporate Hospital.

o Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors and hospital procurement teams.

o Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate clients on the benefits and usage of the products.

o Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

o Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new medical advancements.

o Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-5 years in a similar role (depending on the level).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Additional: Willingness to travel and work in flexible shifts.

Work Environment

  • Regular travel to client locations or project sites.
