Location:

• South Region – Chennai (Redhills & Gummidipoondi)

Qualification:

• Education DEE/BE (Electrical)

Experience:

• 2-3 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Overhead Crane, Hoist, Electrical, and Mechanical Breakdown Maintenance Hands-on Experience
• Overhead crane installation and commissioning on site handle electrical and mechanical work with hands-on experience.
• Ready to travel and work outside of Region, Pan India as and when required.
• Assemble the hoist, endtruck, and festooning crane at the site for installation.
• Technical knowledge of safety requirements for crane erection and commissioning, like lifting belts, mobile cranes, Manlifter, etc.
• Mounting and wiring of the crane electrical panel as per the drawing.
• Correctly use and maintain the tools, including power tools, torque wrenches, multimeters, test equipment, and measuring instruments.
• Locate and repair faults in switchboards and control panels from an overhead crane.
• Repair the hoist at the site.
• Inspect the welding work on site.
• Taking building dimensions for crane GA.

Required Skills:  

• Effective written and oral communication skills are desirable.
• Correctly instruct, supervise, and transfer skills to any apprentice or semi-skilled worker assigned to him to ensure safety and quality of work.
• Service and maintain the electrical equipment of switchboards and control panels.
• Using safety and protective devices and equipment
• Good knowledge of crane electrical schematic reading and functions of crane.
