Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our advanced fire and gas detection systems, as well as radar tank level management and flow meter systems. This is a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art safety technologies and provide essential support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire detection, gas detection, and other safety systems.
- Work with radar tank level management and flow measurement applications.
- Program, configure, and commission systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair system errors, perform inspections, and assist with modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all service tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in training team members and external customers.
- Attend and complete training workshops and courses.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics (B-Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, with a marine background.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment and system operations.
- Previous experience working on ships is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to travel and manage projects independently.
