About the Role

Kuvam Technologies is looking for a technically sound Service Engineer with hands-on experience in CNC/VMC/HMC machines, spindle servicing, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation, commissioning and servicing of CNC/VMC/HMC machines and components.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing CNC machine spindles.
3. Handling spindle dismantling, inspection, assembly and overhauling.
4. Servicing and troubleshooting rotary tables.
5. Performing preventive and breakdown maintenance.
6. Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and control-related faults.
7. Handling customer-site visits for installation, maintenance and technical support.
8. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals.
9. Maintaining service reports and documentation.
10. Providing technical support to customers and ensuring timely resolution of complaints.

Technical Skills Required

- CNC, VMC and HMC machine maintenance.
- Spindle servicing, repair and overhauling.
- Rotary table installation and troubleshooting.
- Fanuc CNC controls.
- Siemens controls knowledge is an advantage.
- PLC and electrical troubleshooting.
- Servo motors and drives.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Engineering drawings and GD&T knowledge.
- Mechanical assembly and maintenance.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience Required

2–6 years of relevant experience in CNC/VMC machine servicing, spindle maintenance, rotary tables or industrial machine maintenance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong practical and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with CNC/VMC machines.
- Willingness to travel for customer-site visits.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
