Install, commission, and configure laboratory equipment and industrial/laboratory chillers at client sites, ensuring proper setup as per technical specifications.
Conduct site inspections prior to installation to assess requirements such as power supply, space, and environmental conditions.
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities as per schedule to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Handle breakdown maintenance efficiently by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and refrigeration circuits (compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, etc.).
Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to identify faults and ensure accurate repairs.
Monitor and analyze chiller performance, including temperature stability, pressure levels, gas flow, and cooling efficiency, and recommend improvements where required.
Maintain detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and checklists for all service activities; update internal systems/CRM on a regular basis.
Ensure proper documentation of service history, spare parts usage, and customer feedback.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for procurement of spare parts and ensure timely availability of required materials.
Follow up on pending parts and ensure minimal delay in service delivery.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment usage, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure timely closure of service requests/complaints within defined TAT and maintain service quality standards.
Escalate critical issues to senior management or technical teams when required.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols while handling equipment, especially refrigeration systems and electrical components.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Support installation and service activities across multiple locations, including travel when required.
