Service desk Engineer Job Opening in Bangalore

Description

We are looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to our users, helping to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support.
• Document all interactions and resolutions in the service desk ticketing system.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure they are properly configured and maintained.
• Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up accounts and providing necessary hardware.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac OS environments.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
