Primary & Secondary Skills:
- Primary: German Language Proficiency (C1 and above), Service Desk Support
- Secondary: Windows Support, Networking, Active Directory, O365
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Service Desk Analyst with strong German language proficiency (C1 level or above) to provide Level 1 technical support. The candidate will be responsible for handling end-user queries, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
L1 Technical Support:
- Handle inbound calls and service desk tickets efficiently
- Address and resolve basic L1 level queries from end users
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows applications
- Perform basic troubleshooting for Internet, LAN, and WAN connectivity issues
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate resolver group via IT ticketing systems
- Remotely install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS and authorized desktop applications on laptops/desktops
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot printers and related hardware
- Perform preventive maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers
- Customize and configure desktop hardware as per business requirements
- Manage email accounts including creation and distribution lists in Office 365
- Administer user accounts (creation, modification, password reset) in Active Directory
- Provide guidance to end users on basic software, hardware, and peripheral usage
- Take ownership of issues and ensure proper documentation in ITSM tools
- Configure mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android) for enterprise connectivity
- Maintain basic knowledge of Networking, Virtualization, Outlook, Windows, Mac OS, and web-based applications
Customer Focus:
- Deliver timely and accurate resolution of technical issues
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Identify and escalate critical issues that may impact business operations
Technical Skillset – Must Have:
- Networking experience in LAN/WAN environments
- Good knowledge of Active Directory
- Citrix
- Office 365 (O365)
- Microsoft Windows
- Mobile Operating Systems (Android/iOS)
- Antivirus tools
