Position Title: Service Delivery Manager - Oracle Centre of Excellence

The job
AVEVA is embarking on a strategic initiative to create an internal Oracle Centre of Excellence (CoE), consolidating all Oracle ERP support and project activity into one accountable, in-house team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead this new team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing offshore or nearshore shared service centers for ERP systems, preferably Oracle. This is a leadership role critical to the success of our new CoE, responsible for building a high-performing team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Oracle specialists located in Hyderabad and Madrid, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Oracle CoE, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support, enhancements, and compliance projects across multiple time zones.
Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring the team provides excellent service to internal employees and stakeholders.
Manage the transition from our current managed service provider to the new in-house CoE, ensuring a smooth and seamless handover.
Act as the primary point of contact for the Oracle CoE, managing relationships with key stakeholders and aligning the team's priorities with the overall business strategy directed from our UK headquarters.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, motivating the team to innovate and enhance our service delivery.
Develop and manage a robust talent pipeline, nurturing junior analysts and providing career development opportunities for the entire team.
Essential requirements
Relevant 12 to 15 years work experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing an offshore or nearshore shared service center for an ERP system
Strong preference for candidates with Oracle expertise, especially with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials
Demonstrated experience in building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams, with a focus on creating a positive and engaging work environment
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
A deep understanding of service delivery principles and a passion for providing excellent customer service
Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans and to lead a team through periods of change and transformation
Experience in managing the transition from an outsourced to an in-house service model is highly desirable

Hybrid working
