Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations, support, and availability of Oracle application systems, ensuring service performance meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Oversee Oracle data integrations with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ensure operational readiness during peak academic periods.
  • Coordinate incident, problem, and change management, including major incident escalations, root cause analysis, and Oracle patch releases.
  • Manage vendor performance, service reviews, and stakeholder engagement to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Lead and mentor the operations team, plan resource capacity, and drive continuous service improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of IT service delivery or operations management experience, with at least 3–5 years supporting enterprise Oracle environments.
  • Experience with Oracle applications, Oracle Database, APIs, middleware, ETL, and LMS integrations.
  • ITIL v3/v4 certified with experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the Higher Education or Singapore public sector is an advantage.
