Job Summary
The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing service requests, coordinating field service teams, ensuring timely service delivery, and maintaining effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on smooth service operations, customer satisfaction, and SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, register, and track service requests from customers
- Schedule and coordinate service engineers/technicians as per priority
- Monitor service execution and ensure timely closure of service calls
- Act as a liaison between customers, service teams, and internal departments
- Prepare and manage service documentation including job cards, service reports, and invoices
- Follow up on pending service issues and escalations
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, contracts, and warranty terms
- Maintain service records, databases, and MIS reports
- Support preventive maintenance planning and execution
- Handle customer complaints and ensure resolution satisfaction
- Coordinate with spare parts, logistics, and billing teams as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Engineering, Operations, or relevant field
- 3–5 years of experience in service coordination or service operations role
- Experience working with service teams or field operations
