Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Bulletin (SB) Author with strong exposure to Airbus technical publications. The candidate will be responsible for authoring, revising, and validating Service Bulletins related to aircraft modifications, inspections, repairs, and engineering changes. The role requires close collaboration with engineering teams and a strong understanding of S1000D/iSpec 2200 standards.

Key Responsibilities

Author, update, and revise Airbus Service Bulletins (SBs) based on engineering change requests and modification packages.
Analyze source data, engineering drawings, design change documents, and technical notes.
Perform impact analysis on affected aircraft documentation including AMM, IPC, SRM, CMM, and FIM.
Ensure compliance with S1000D, ATA, ASD-STE100, and Airbus documentation standards.
Collaborate with SMEs, Design Engineers, Configuration Management, and Technical Publication teams.
Validate maintenance instructions, inspection procedures, tooling requirements, and material references.
Incorporate customer comments and engineering feedback into publication deliverables.
Support document reviews and quality checks prior to release.

Required Skills

Experience in Service Bulletin (SB) authoring for Airbus aircraft programs.
Strong knowledge of S1000D, ATA iSpec 2200, ATA 100.
Hands-on experience with Arbortext Editor, XML, and CMS environments.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, modifications, and design changes.
Knowledge of AMM, IPC, SRM, CMM, TSM, or FIM documentation.
Familiarity with Airbus programs such as A320, A330, A350, A220 is preferred.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Preferred Background

Aerospace Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
Experience working with Airbus, Akkodis, Sonovision, Alten, Capgemini, Cyient, HCL, LTTS, or similar aerospace technical publication organizations.
