Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Server Engineer to manage and support compute infrastructure across virtualized environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for provisioning resources, maintaining server performance, and ensuring smooth post-migration support and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup Compute resources for applications and support Hyper-V and VMware environments
- Installation of OS, patches and troubleshooting
- Provide post-migration hypercare support, ensuring system stability after deployment.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth transition and knowledge handover.
- Maintain documentation for server configurations, processes, and issue resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and VMware (vSphere/ESXi).
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.
- Experience in OS installation, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of virtualization, storage, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
