Job Responsibilities:

Server Management:

Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security for both Windows and Linux environments.

Active Directory:

Manage and administer Active Directory services, including user accounts, security groups, organizational units, and group policies for Windows servers & Endpoints.

Print Server Management:

Set up and maintain the print server, ensuring seamless printing services for all network-connected devices in both Windows and Linux environments.

VMware ESXi and vCenter:

Deploy, manage, and monitor VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines using vCenter, supporting both Windows and Linux workloads. Implement high-availability and fault-tolerance features.

Windows Server Administration:

Manage and maintain Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, patching, and security hardening.

Linux Server Administration:

Manage and maintain Linux server operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat), including installation, configuration, patching, and security hardening.

SAN and NAS Management:

Configure and maintain Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network-Attached Storage (NAS) devices, ensuring data availability and performance for both Windows and Linux environments.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions for both Windows and Linux servers.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard the server infrastructure for both Windows and Linux environments. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for server environments to ensure data integrity and continuity for both Windows and Linux platforms.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including networking, security, and application teams, to optimize server performance and resolve integration-related issues.

Capacity Planning:

Monitor server resources, analyze usage patterns, and perform capacity planning to anticipate future infrastructure needs for both Windows and Linux environments.

On-Call Support:

Provide on-call support for server-related emergencies and participate in the on-call rotation schedule for both Windows and Linux systems.

Job Requirements:

• 3-4 years proven experience as a Server Engineer with expertise in managing Dell servers and hardware, Active Directory, print server, VMware ESXi, vCenter,Proxmox, SAN, NAS, Windows servers, and Linux servers.
• Industry certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Dell EMC Proven Professional, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, Linux Professional Institute Certification) are considered highly advantageous and will add significant value to the candidate's profile
• Strong knowledge of server hardware architecture, including RAID configurations, memory, CPU, and disk storage.
• In-depth understanding of VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and vMotion.
• Proficiency in managing SAN and NAS devices, including data replication and storage provisioning.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for server environments.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex server-related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for maintenance, upgrades, and on-call support.
