Job Role:
Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise server infrastructure in a PSU refinery environment. The role involves managing Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, ensuring system uptime, performance optimization, and supporting critical IT operations for seamless business continuity.
Experience:
- Total Experience: Minimum 2+ years in server administration and IT infrastructure support
- Hands-on experience in managing enterprise server environments, preferably in large-scale or PSU/government projects
Education Qualification:
- Min. Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech (CS / IT / Electronics) / MCA with relevant experience OR Diploma with minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
Technical Skills:
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Virtualization: VMware ESXi, vCenter
- Server Management: Installation, Configuration, Patching, Performance Tuning
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Server health monitoring, log analysis, issue resolution
- Backup & Recovery: Basic backup solutions and disaster recovery practices
- Networking Basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
- Tools & Utilities: Remote desktop tools, ticketing systems, system monitoring tools
Relevant Skills:
- Managing and maintaining Windows and Linux server environments
- Hands-on experience in VMware virtualization and resource management
- Performing server installation, configuration, and patch management
- Troubleshooting hardware, OS, and application-level issues
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability
- Supporting backup and recovery operations
- Maintaining system security and applying updates/patches
- Coordinating with network and application teams for issue resolution
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers

- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly
