Job Description

JD - Server Admin

We need new Server admin with experience in Windows Linux patching. We will be utilizing him/her in server VAPT governance and improve our compliance scores;it may increase as per the need and project basis.

Job Description as per below.

  • Segregating vulnerabilities (Windows Linux OS or Application or 3rd party related) from VAPT reports.
  • Understanding of Windows and Linux CVEs and their remediation.
  • Fixing vulnerabilities by registry / config changes.
  • Analyze ageing vulnerabilities and identify reason for non-remediation by liaising with server admin teams.
  • Tracking and getting vulnerabilities fixed with help from technical teams.
  • Identify EOL servers which cant be patched and connect with stakeholders for OS upgrades.
  • Ensuring all servers are included in patching cycle by Managed Services Partner.
  • Verify patching compliance reports shared by Managed Services Partner and highlight issues to higher management.
  • Validate if vulnerabilities are mitigated post patching based on rescan reports.
  • Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting for doing registry changes at large scale.
  • Experience :4-5 yrs.
