Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Assist in design evolution of Trims components during series production.
Prepare CAD documentation, Change management documents
Provide CAD/CAM data exchange support for manufacturability.
Support geometric variation analysis, gap & flush management, and tolerance studies.
Monitor warranty returns and customer quality issues.
Ability to understand the QC concerns and study on the issue resolution.
Archive quality files and knowledge capitalization dossiers at project milestones.
Ensure supplier technical files converge with Renault's QCDP milestones, validating readiness at each stage.
Able to converge cost impacts of engineering changes and modifications.
Support VA/VE initiatives by documenting costsaving proposals & prepare dashboards summarizing realized and potential savings.
Assist plants engineers in resolving nonconformities with provisional solution files.

Key Requirements

Provide CAD design and documentation support for Interior/Exterior Trims during serial life management.
Contribute to technical convergence, supplier deliverables, and compliance with Renault standards and EU directives.
Support design evolution, modification management, and supplier coordination throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
Catia V5 / V6 knowledge, Enovia / 3D Experience is added advantage.

Technical Knowledge

Plastics, decorative parts manufacturing process including injection molding, and assembly feasibility.
Ergonomics, comfort validation, safety anchorage, and compliance with crash regulations.
Plastic / Trims parts material selection, Cost for each material type, Design guidelines, DFM & DFA.
