Role Description The SEO & Web Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing company and client websites to improve search engine visibility, user experience, and performance. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end and back-end features, optimizing site structure and content for SEO, managing technical SEO elements (such as page speed, indexing, and schema), and ensuring responsive, accessible web design. The SEO & Web Developer will collaborate with recruitment and marketing teams to support digital campaigns, track web analytics, and continuously refine website functionality and search rankings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development and Programming skills, such as experience with server-side languages, databases, and API integration.
• Candidates should possess solid Web Development skills for building, testing, and maintaining scalable and secure websites.
• Hands-on experience with SEO best practices, on-page and technical SEO, keyword research, and tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
• Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into effective web solutions, with attention to usability and performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in the Kolkata metropolitan area.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design/Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) and version control tools (e.g., Git) is highly beneficial.
