About The Role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Website Developer to join Passionfruit's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing websites across multiple platforms and custom builds. You will work closely with our design, SEO, and project management teams to create responsive, fast, and SEO-friendly websites that align with our clients strategic goals. Your expertise will help ensure that websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and user experience, contributing directly to the success of our clients digital presence. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a proven track record in website development. Candidates should have extensive experience working with Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, and Framer, along with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with theme customization, plugin management, and CMS workflows is essential. A good grasp of technical SEO fundamentals, including structured data implementation, page speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals, is required. The ability to troubleshoot and debug front-end issues efficiently is crucial. Prior experience working in an agency environment is a plus, as it demonstrates adaptability and exposure to diverse projects. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites on platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Framer, and through custom coding solutions.
- Create responsive, mobile-first websites optimized for performance and user experience.
- Implement SEO best practices by structuring sites with clean HTML, schema markup, and other optimization techniques.
- Validate and implement structured data (Schema / JSON-LD) to enhance search visibility.
- Manage technical aspects such as redirects, canonical tags, pagination, hreflang tags, and sitemap optimization.
- Optimize website speed, improve Core Web Vitals, and ensure accessibility compliance.
- Integrate third-party tools, forms, tracking pixels, and analytics platforms to enhance website functionality.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and project managers to deliver cohesive and effective websites.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to website performance, rendering, and indexing.
- Support website migrations, redesigns, and launches, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for a consistent user experience.
