Role Description The SEO Team Lead (Off Page) is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for leading and mentoring an off-page SEO team, planning and executing link-building strategies, and managing outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks. The position involves analyzing competitors, identifying off-page optimization opportunities, and collaborating with content, design, and on-page SEO teams to ensure cohesive SEO efforts. The SEO Team Lead will monitor rankings and traffic using web analytics tools, generate performance reports, and refine strategies based on data. This role also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of search engine guidelines, algorithm updates, and best practices, while ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and timelines.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in off-page SEO techniques, including Link Building and outreach strategies.
  • Solid understanding of Keyword Research and its application to off-page and content-driven campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of On-Page SEO to effectively coordinate with on-page and content teams.
  • Experience using Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, third-party SEO platforms) to track performance and optimize campaigns.
  • Background in Marketing or Digital Marketing, with the ability to align SEO initiatives with broader marketing objectives.
  • Proven experience in leading or supervising an SEO team, including task delegation, quality checks, and performance feedback.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders and, when needed, client-facing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in an agency or multi-client environment and familiarity with global SEO best practices are preferred.
