Lemon Yellow is looking for a
curious, growth-oriented SEO Executive with around
1 year of hands-on experience to join our team. At Lemon Yellow, SEO goes beyond keyword rankings we focus on understanding how users search, think, speak, and interact with digital experiences in an evolving search landscape.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to
build strong SEO fundamentals while exploring emerging areas like AI-driven search, AEO, and GEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential keywords across internal projects and client accounts
- Execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and rankings
- Monitor website performance using SEO and analytics tools
- Collaborate with content and design teams to create SEO-friendly, user-focused content
- Perform technical SEO audits and recommend actionable website improvements
- Track and report key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword performance, and conversions
- Suggest improvements to website structure, navigation, and overall user experience
- Implement local SEO strategies where applicable
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm updates, SERP changes, and emerging search trends
- Explore how Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) can complement traditional SEO (prior experience not required)
Requirements
- Around 1 year of SEO experience preferred
(Candidates with strong foundational knowledge, relevant internships, or hands-on projects may also be considered)
- Working knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Basic familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Uber suggest, or Surfer SEO (preferred, not mandatory)
- Good understanding of on-page and off-page SEO best practices
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive insights
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- SEO or digital marketing certification is a plus
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms is preferred
- Awareness of local SEO practices is an advantage
