As SEO Manager (SEO & Conversion), you will be responsible for understanding the search landscape, identifying scalable growth opportunities in the organic channel, and building a robust SEO engine that drives both traffic and conversions.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Search Engine Marketing (SEO), you will lead the development and execution of SEO strategybalancing content excellence, technical optimisation, AI-enabled workflows, and conversion-focused growth.

What You Will Do1. Own & Scale the Organic Search Strategy
  • Understand the evolving search landscape and assess opportunities across the organic channel.
  • Identify key drivers of a high-impact SEO strategy and build a roadmap to scale traffic and conversions.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 3-month editorial and SEO roadmap aligned with keyword opportunities, funnel stages, and product launches.
2. Write, Edit & Set the Quality Bar
  • Personally craft high-stakes articles, landing pages, and email sequences.
  • Ensure strong E-E-A-T principles, compelling storytelling, and conversion-focused messaging.
  • Maintain high editorial standards with <5% revision rate.
3. Lead & Build a High-Performance Team
  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of 56 SEO specialists, content writers, and freelancers.
  • Recruit, brief, coach, and review work to ensure brand voice consistency and SEO best practices.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional SEO initiatives with stakeholders across Product, Design, Tech, and Growth.
4. Leverage AIResponsibly & Strategically
  • Design prompt libraries and AI workflows using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, etc.
  • Enable writers to use LLMs for research, outlines, and first drafts while ensuring originality and zero plagiarism.
  • Pilot AI-driven tools for keyword clustering, SERP gap analysis, and content optimization.
  • Reduce draft-to-publish time by 40% while maintaining quality and compliance.
5. Optimize for Search & Conversion
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices (titles, headers, schema, internal linking).
  • Apply knowledge of Core Web Vitals, E-E-A-T, and algorithm updates to improve performance.
  • Weave strong CTAs to drive demos and trials.
  • Deliver 30% uplift in organic sessions and 15% increase in lead-to-demo conversions.
6. Technical SEO & Performance Tracking
  • Conduct frequent SEO audits and report channel performance.
  • Identify gaps, opportunities, and technical improvements.
  • Work closely with internal tech teams and external agency partners to execute technical SEO initiatives.
  • Monitor performance via GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and dashboards.
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
  • Publish 10+ intent-matched pieces per person per week with high quality and low revision rate.
  • Achieve 30% growth in organic sessions from content hub pages.
  • Deliver 15% improvement in lead-to-demo conversions from organic traffic.
  • Reduce content production cycle time by 40% using AI workflows.
  • Maintain zero plagiarism incidents and strong E-E-A-T signals.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
  • 47 years in SEO, content management, editorial, or growth marketing (SaaS, ed-tech, or B2C preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the search ecosystem and ability to translate keyword research into strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with technical SEO, meta tags, schema, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals basics.
  • Proven experience managing SEO/content teams.
  • Demonstrated use of AI/LLMs for content creation and optimization with strong quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and data analysis (spreadsheets/SQL basics).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and editorial judgment.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience scaling programmatic or product-led SEO.
  • Background in K-12 or adult learning domains.
  • Basic HTML/CMS experience (WordPress, Webflow, headless CMS).
  • Exposure to prompt engineering or custom LLM fine-tuning.
